Duties
This will eventually move to a field-based position supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialist machinery across the UK. You’ll be working with a team of experienced engineers to learn the ropes, gaining invaluable exposure across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
* Assisting in the repair and maintenance of advanced manufacturing machinery
* Shadowing experienced service engineers during site visits and installations
* Developing diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electrical and hydraulic systems
* Supporting customers and learning how to deliver outstanding technical service
* Managing parts and tooling, with support from a dedicated service desk
* Attending college (where applicable) to complete your formal qualifications
The Candidate
* Is completing or has recently completed a Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, etc.)
* Has a genuine interest in engineering and fixing things
* Is keen to learn and grow within a structured, supportive environment
* Enjoys a mix of workshop-based and hands-on field work
* Is confident enough to work with customers once trained
* Has a full UK driving lisence (or is working towards it)
* Can travel across the UK and is open to occasional overnight stays
