Carlisle Support Services is seeking an Operations Support Team Controller to deliver excellent service and support to frontline employees, customers, and future employees, ensuring all tasks are completed each shift. This role will serve as the central point of contact for all stakeholders.
Your core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing book on and book off processes across all shifts
2. Managing absences according to the agreed contract process
3. Addressing gaps in rosters in coordination with contract teams
4. Communicating outstanding arbitrations to management
5. Entering payroll data for labour-only cleaning contracts
6. Managing the ticketing system: communication, resolution, and closure
7. Completing lone worker checks
8. Supporting employee queries and communicating updates as needed
9. Completing and distributing accident and incident reports
10. Logging faults promptly and actively managing related jobs
11. Communicating faults to operational management to facilitate timely resolution within KPIs
12. Producing monthly KPI reports from Work-IT as directed by the Head of Operations for Cleaning
13. Requesting client extensions when access issues arise
14. Generating POs for third-party service providers in response to faults or jobs raised via the helpdesk
15. Supporting candidates through application and vetting processes, including contact for form completion and ID checks
16. Assigning candidates to inductions and monitoring completion
17. Monitoring social media platforms to contact staff actively seeking work
The ideal candidate
* Possesses strong problem-solving skills
* Has supervisory or training experience within a team
* Has broad experience in scheduling
* Has broad experience with operational systems
* Can quickly collect and analyze information to grasp issues
* Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
* Can influence staff at all levels
* Possesses well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Can work autonomously and collaboratively as required
Night shifts: 4 on, 4 off pattern, 20:00 - 08:00.
Successful candidates will need to provide original documentation for screening and vetting, including options such as passport, driving licence, recent utility bill, HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, birth certificate, or a valid share code.
