About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in this SEMH setting, you will play a vital role in helping students re-engage with learning. Working closely with teaching staff and support teams, you will provide one-to-one and small group interventions, helping students to build confidence, develop positive relationships, and make academic progress. Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in small groups Build strong, trusting relationships that promote student engagement and self-esteem Support teachers with behaviour management strategies and classroom routines Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or additional needs Confidence and compassion when managing challenging behaviour A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to student support A genuine desire to help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically This is a truly rewarding position, offering the chance to be part of a dedicated team making a lasting impact on students' lives.
