Key Responsibilities:
📚 Process day-to-day client bookkeeping and conduct receipt analysis
📈 Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns, ensuring compliance with statutory timelines
📊 Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, meticulously reconciling transactions
📝 Assist in preparing accounts to trial balance for various entities, including sole traders and limited companies
💳 Support payment runs and gain necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders
🤝 Manage operational relationships with banks, vendors, and clients
🛠️ Collaborate across teams to enhance alignment, efficiency, and consistency in client delivery
🔍 Contribute to a culture of accountability and high performance
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
🎓 Educated to A-level (or equivalent) and eager to learn
📖 Studying towards (or ready to begin) a professional accounting qualification
🧠 Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture
⏰ Adaptable, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
💻 Digitally literate and enthusiastic about mastering our core systems (CCH, Virtual Cabinet, Excel)
