GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Ocean Winds (OW) is an international company dedicated to offshore wind energy and created as a 50-50 joint venture, owned by EDP Renewables and ENGIE. OW develops, finances, builds and operates offshore wind farm projects all around the world.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial documentation including FIDIC and LOGIC contracts, BIMCOs, supply agreements and confidentiality agreements.
* Analysis of complex and legal commercial issues arising from contract negotiations and existing contractual relationships.
* Managing and negotiating contractor claims.
* Instructing and managing external counsel.
* Advising on regulatory matters.
* Assisting with general legal enquiries from the business.
REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS
Degree in law required. Must be Scots or English law qualified with up to 4 years PQE.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial contracts is necessary.

* Be a team player as although the candidate will be expected to be able to work on their own they will also need to work as part of a cross departmental/international team.
