It starts with you. As a Pensions & Benefits Administrator, you'll play a key role in delivering the day‑to‑day administration of Nuffield Health's pension and employee benefit arrangements. Working within the Reward team, you'll help ensure pensions and benefits activities are delivered accurately on time, and in line with scheme rules, legislation, best practice, and internal procedures. This is a specialist pensions role, focused on supporting and evolving our pension provision. The successful candidate will spend most of their time on pension related activity, including scheme governance, regular interaction with the pension provider, and responding to employee pension queries. Although the role is aligned to the broader reward agenda, this is not a generalist benefits role. As a Pensions & Benefits Administrator, you will: Administer the Nuffield Health Retirement Savings Plan, People's Pension and legacy TUPE schemes, providing members, potential members and beneficiaries with clear, accurate information and outstanding customer service. Work collaboratively to meet monthly pension payroll deadlines, ensuring data is accurate and submitted on time. Process monthly auto‑enrolment activities, including assessments, postponements and statutory submissions. Prepare and submit monthly contribution schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory timescales and internal sign‑off requirements. Manage opt‑ins, opt‑outs, refunds, contribution monitoring, contribution changes and payroll corrections. Maintain and update pension records accurately, including contribution levels, and perform and check benefit calculations. Respond to all member‑related pension queries efficiently and within agreed service levels. Support team members with day‑to‑day activities, including peer review and annual leave cover. Develop an understanding of the Nuffield Health Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (Defined Benefit arrangement) to provide continuity during colleague absences. Provide advice and guidance to HR, Payroll and colleagues on day‑to‑day pensions matters. Support the Senior Pensions & Benefits Coordinator with data integrity checks, reconciliations and monthly payroll pension changes. Process the administration of employee benefits as required Support monthly payroll changes relating to employee benefits and carry out regular integrity checks on Workday and benefits provider systems. Assist with the day‑to‑day management of relationships with benefit providers and support annual benefit renewal processes, including accurate uptake reporting. Manage and respond to pension and benefit queries via the benefits escalations mailbox and Workday Help cases. Process reward‑related payments, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and liaising with Finance. To succeed as a Pensions & Benefits Administrator, you'll bring: Previous experience in pensions and/or employee benefits administration. A strong understanding of the importance of accurate data and payroll deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a simple way. A customer‑focused, collaborative approach to work. Confidence using HR and payroll systems (Workday experience desirable). The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team. Helping you feel good.
