Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and short-term supply work across primary schools in Dorchester. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school settings while maintaining flexibility in your work life.
The role:
* Position: Supply Teaching Assistant (Primary)
* Location: Dorchester and surrounding areas
* Start date: Ongoing – September 2025 and beyond
* Working hours: Flexible (you choose your availability)
* Pay: Market-related, dependent on experience and role type
Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Working with individuals or small groups to assist learning
* Following plans left by the class teacher
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supporting pupils with additional needs when required
We are looking for:
* Experience working with children (formal or informal)
* Enthusiastic, reliable and confident individuals
* Willingness to travel locally for work
* Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
* Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
