About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Oncology Department, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides specialised care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This is a dynamic and deeply rewarding nursing role, offering opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills while supporting patients and their whānau during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Ongoing education and professional development are strongly encouraged and supported.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Oncology team is made up of dedicated nurses, oncologists, allied health professionals, and support staff who work collaboratively to provide patient-centred, culturally safe care. We pride ourselves on our team culture, clinical excellence, and supportive environment.

About you
As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:
* Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate
* A passion for oncology nursing, with previous experience in cancer care or an interest in developing skills in this specialty
* Strong clinical judgement, adaptability, and compassion
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to delivering equitable, holistic, and culturally responsive care
