Job description: 48 hours per week 5 from 6 (Sunday–Friday) Immediate Start Available The Menu Partners is a rapidly growing food business supplying hotels, restaurants, pubs, catering groups and private clients across the UK. As our transport operations continue to expand, we are now recruiting for a reliable and professional Night Trunker to join our team at Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver who is confident operating on night routes and wants a stable, full-time permanent role with a business that is investing heavily in its logistics network. The Role As a Night Trunker, you will play a key part in the smooth running of our overnight transport operation. You will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking runs between Trafford Park and our Bicester depot, moving multi-temperature food products in a safe, timely, and compliant manner. This is a point-to-point driving role with consistent routes, requiring professionalism, attention to detail and a commitment to high operational standards. From time to time, you may also be required to assist with loading goods into the vehicle, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with weight, safety and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Complete nightly trunk runs between Trafford Park and Bicester, adhering to planned schedules Transport chilled, frozen and ambient goods (multi-temperature) safely, maintaining product integrity throughout Assist with loading products into the vehicle when required, ensuring all goods are handled safely and secured correctly Carry out all pre-use and end-of-shift vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly in line with company procedures Ensure full compliance with tachograph regulations and the Working Time Directive Maintain accurate and legible paperwork, PODs and any other documentation required for the route Communicate effectively with the Transport Office regarding delays, route changes, incidents or operational issues Follow all site Health & Safety procedures at both depots, promoting a safe working environment Represent The Menu Partners professionally at all times, acting as an ambassador for the company What We’re Looking For Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous night trunking experience preferred Experience with multi-temperature loads (chilled/frozen/ambient) desirable Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Able to work 5 out of 6 nights (Sunday to Friday) Strong communication skills and professional attitude Hours & Pay 48 hours per week 5 from 6 shift pattern (Sunday–Friday) £38,500 per annum Immediate start available
