Veterinary Auxiliary Nurse (Veterinary Care Assistant) at Sheriff's Highway Vets, Gateshead
Location
Sheriff's Highway Vets, Gateshead. Branches in Whickham, Sunderland, Crawcrook. Full UK driving licence required for travel.
Contract
Full‑time permanent. 38 hours over 4 days per week, rotating weekends (8:00‑5:00).

How you’ll make a difference
Supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, helping the practice run smoothly and safely. Working under the direction of a veterinary surgeon or registered veterinary nurse, you’ll support inpatient care, patient handling and restraint, maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive, compassionate experience for patients and clients.
