Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £16.84 per hour
Summary:
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a Toilet Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of public toilet facilities at Cyfarthfa Park. This is a weekend role, requiring 4 hours per day, with responsibility for cleaning, restocking, and ensuring the facilities are welcoming and safe for the public. The post also includes light litter picking within the park area.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and other facilities to high hygiene standards.
* Restock toilet paper, soap, hand towels, and other supplies as needed.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Perform light litter picking in and around the park facilities.
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
* Basic literacy and numeracy.
* Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Physical fitness to perform cleaning and litter-picking duties.
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
