Hours: 60 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 07:00–19:00
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Role Summary
Lead the corporate security team at a London-based site, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets and property while maintaining professional standards and operational excellence. Act as deputy for the Security Manager or Head of Security as required, attending meetings and representing the client when needed. Demonstrate leadership, operational expertise and people management skills to maintain consistent team performance. Collaborate across teams and stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the security team, supporting recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
* Conduct focused team briefings to ensure clear communication and operational execution.
* Monitor and validate security standards, providing constructive feedback and action plans.
* Plan rotas and manage holiday requests, maintaining accurate systems and records.
* Maintain a professional appearance: correct uniform, PPE and SIA badge.
* Deliver excellent customer service and engage professionally with all personnel and visitors.
* Conduct patrols, access control and surveillance using CCTV, alarm and security systems.
* Identify risks, threats and hazards, taking appropriate action in line with Assignment Instructions.
* Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures and corporate security standards.
* Carry out incident reporting, escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with emergency services when required.
* Support client brand and corporate culture while responding to reasonable requests.
Person Specification
* Proven experience leading security teams in corporate or multi-tenanted environments.
* Evidence of career development in security, including specialist technical skills.
* Conscientious, alert and detail-oriented with strong operational awareness.
* Adaptable to changing priorities and able to collaborate effectively.
* Punctual, reliable and committed with respect for colleagues and clients.
* Highest integrity; maintains confidentiality with sensitive information.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with clients.

* Holds SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licences
