What You Will Do In The Role
You will work within an employment advice service, collaborating with clinicians who provide psychological therapies to people with common mental health problems. You will offer employment support to service users to gain, return to or retain employment. The role involves working with Job Centres (including some face-to-face visits across the region), employers, trade unions and employment agencies to help people stay in or secure employment. You will promote prevention and early intervention to ensure timely access to health support and suitable employment support to avoid long-term unemployment. This role involves remote working and approximately one day in the Newcastle locality per week.
