Our client in Manchester has an exciting opportunity for a conveyancing assistant with 2 years’ experience to join their Stockport office. Working alongside experienced conveyancers, you’ll support a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, managing files from initial instruction right through to completion and closure. Key responsibilities: * Support the team with the full range of residential conveyancing matters, from initial instruction through to file closing. * Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, referrers, and estate agents by phone and email to progress transactions smoothly. * Handle a range of tasks including file opening, ordering of title documents and searches and preparing required forms and documentation with the supervision of a fee earner. * Maintain accurate, compliant, and well‑organised files in line with regulatory and internal standards. About you: * 2 years’ experience in a similar role. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties. * Confident using IT systems, including document management tools and Microsoft Office applications. * Able to work accurately under pressure, managing competing deadlines with strong organisational skills. * An understanding of property transactions and conveyancing processes is beneficial, though training can be provided
