Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes. They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team in Camberley.
Job responsibilities
Package Description:
Shift Details: 07:30-20:30 (alternate weekends required)
Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. This includes assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality.
* Assisting residents in all personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
