As a leading hospice, we undertake a wide range of activities including an acute inpatient unit, coordinating care in the community, retail and fundraising. With nearly 500 staff and 1,000 volunteers, high performing digital solutions are essential.
We're looking for a passionate and experienced digital professional that can help empower our workforce by developing and delivering engaging digital education programmes that improve digital literacy, confidence, and adoption across Dorothy House.
DIGITAL LEARNING LEAD | £42,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of both our Education and Digital teams, supporting and leading collaborative transformation projects across our organisation. You will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive, forward-thinking learning culture where staff and volunteers feel empowered to embrace new digital tools and technologies.
The role will include:
* Designing and delivering engaging digital learning experiences - from one-to-one support and group workshops to drop-in sessions and self-directed resources
* Collaborating closely with the Digital Team to offer insight and ensure training aligns with new and existing digital systems, helping teams navigate and adopt change while building confidence
* Building and supporting a network of digital champions, providing them with tools and encouragement to share knowledge and drive digital confidence across all levels
* Working with managers and teams across the hospice to assess training needs, tailoring digital learning programmes to suit different roles, departments and levels of digital literacy
* Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, where all learners feel supported to ask questions, build confidence, and develop practical digital skills
* Evaluating the impact of training initiatives using feedback and evidence to continuously improve our approach and ensure learning translates into real-world impact
* Keeping up to date with digital developments, especially those relevant to the hospice and healthcare sector, and sharing insights with colleagues
* Promoting safe digital practices, including data protection, information governance and eSafety, within all training and guidance materials
* Contributing to policy development and strategic planning in alignment with our broader digital and organisational goals

HOURS OF WORK
This is a part time position. You will be contracted to work 15 hours per week.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
* Experienced trainer and facilitator, evidenced by a teaching qualification or experience
* Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating digital learning and support
* M365 knowledge with detailed knowledge of Office 365 suite and/or Power platforms
* Experience of implementing digital change and new ways of working, guiding/leading colleagues through a change management process
* Experience of cross department collaboration across an organisation including digital groups and end user champions
* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and report writing skills
Desirable requirements:
* Strong understanding of data protection and Information Security
* Flexible approach to problem solving with experience of recommending best fit digital training solutions
