As a System Development Consultant, you will lead the development of critical business applications, manage the technical environment, and implement service improvements through configuration. You will be the expert in NEC Housing modules, working closely with service users and NEC consultants to produce system requirements and specifications. Your decisions will be crucial in ensuring optimal solutions for managing processes and delivering services to customers.

Financial Dimensions:
* Managing line of business systems for payments and payment files
* Advising stakeholders on financial aspects of system upgrades and migrations, highlighting savings
* Supporting financial interfaces and data reconciliation
* Providing reports, dashboards, and analytics on service costs
* Configuring finance-related system settings and supporting statutory submissions
Key Areas for Decision Making:
* Managing NEC Housing to impact service delivery
* Deciding on NEC consultant appointments for configuration and data cleansing
* Prioritising workload to meet deadlines
* Collaborating on technical changes, data integrity, and system configuration
* Balancing stakeholder priorities to achieve configuration goals
Other Considerations:
* Occasional evening, night, and weekend work may be required
* Flexibility to work across various Council offices
