Talent Acquisition Specialist - Enabling SMEs to Thrive and Scale with Exceptional Talent
Are you a commercially driven engineer who loves solving problems, building relationships, and securing new business?
A rapidly growing electrical controls specialist is looking for a Technical Sales / Electrical Estimator to join their team and play a key role in winning projects across multiple industries.
This is a chance to join a forward-thinking organisation that designs and delivers bespoke electrical control systems for clients in Water & Wastewater, Food, Quarrying & Recycling, Renewables, Animal Feed, Refrigeration, and more.
What you’ll be doing
* Building relationships with new and existing clients while identifying fresh business opportunities
* Meeting customers to understand their requirements, budgets, and expectations
* Reviewing specs, drawings, schematics, block cable diagrams, and BOMs
* Producing accurate costings and working closely with suppliers to achieve the best pricing
* Preparing tenders, PQQs, and clear commercial documentation
* Negotiating terms and conditions to secure new contracts
* Collaborating with design, production, installation, and support teams to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard
* Bringing new ideas, continuous improvement, and initiative to every project
What you’ll bring
* HNC+ in Electrical Engineering
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales/estimation role
* Strong understanding of industrial electrical installation and control systems
* Ability to interpret electrical specifications, drawings, and BOMs
* Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and variable speed drives
* Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset
* High attention to detail and the ability to work independently to deadlines
* Positive attitude and willingness to continue developing
