Job overview

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM STAFF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY WELSH AMBULANCE SERVICE NHS TRUST

The post holder will be responsible for the administration and maintenance and development of the National Directory of Services, building key relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders on a local and national basis. The post holder will be expected to support and undertake other projects as required.


Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the administration and day to day maintenance of the Directory of Services ensuring accurate, relevant and up to date information is accessible to all users including Senior Clinicians, GP Out of Hours Services, Clinical Contact Centre personnel, Local Health Boards, service users, volunteer and Third Sector services via the internal and the public facing web based Directory of Services.

The post will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a fast paced, challenging team led environment.

The hours of work will be 7.5 hrs per day, Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

* Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent


Desirable criteria

* Higher Education or vocational training


Experience


Essential criteria

* Experience of databases and database design, development and maintenance.
* Experience of project support and monitoring.
* Experience of communicating with all levels of professional staff and the public.
* Experience of communicating via digital/social media.
* Experience of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Experience of producing management information reports.


Desirable criteria

* Training delivery
* Experience of working within customer focused multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team.
* Knowledge of NHS/third Sector & Voluntary services.
