We are seeking an individual to provide credit control administrative support to the finance function of Carey Olsen on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
This role can be based in one of our Jersey, Guernsey, or Southampton offices.
1. Chasing payment of outstanding debt via telephone and email to minimize bad debts
2. Keeping accurate records with clear and concise notes
3. Liaising with other departments and stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of queries
4. Managing circa 2000 accounts as part of a team
5. Adapting to company requirements and performing ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate will have:
1. One to three years' credit control experience
2. Experience dealing with a high volume of customers monthly
3. Experience in a similar role within a finance or legal office environment
4. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
5. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous work approach
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
8. A positive, proactive, and confident attitude
