The Role
Our Life Safety and Security engineering team is central to our business. Multi-skilled across various technologies and products, our engineers have extensive knowledge built over many years. Customer service is a priority, and our engineers take pride in their work.
This role reports to the Central Regional Manager and includes mentored training and development, with opportunities for future progression and succession planning.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Install, commission, and service our range of field equipment including intruder alarms, CCTV, wireless transmission, access control, audio-visual, public address, and voice alarm systems.
* Perform retrofit upgrades and extensions as part of remedial works.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Understand site plans for installation based on survey documentation.
* Complete documentation per company standards.
* Work within strict health & safety guidelines.
Advise customers on products and services to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Certifications/Qualifications
* Valid CSCS/ECS Card
* DBS clearance (for public sector work)
* IPAF/PASMA/Asbestos Awareness certification
* Recent electrical qualifications
* Full UK driving license
Experience
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible, self-motivated.
* Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturers (e.g., Bosch, Dahua, Genetec, Gallagher, PAC, Win-Pak, Veracity, Milestone, Hikvision).
* Experience within BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accredited companies.
Skills
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Technical expertise in relevant areas.
* Good administration skills, proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
* Team player and relationship builder.
* Project-oriented, adaptable to service tasks.

* Record all work using business systems and obtain client sign-off.
* Ensure health & safety compliance and escalate issues.
