Job Description:
CPL UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking a General Adult Eating Disorder Consultant or S12 Specialty Doctor, NHS based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry to work full-time, with opportunities to broaden experience in community settings and develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. The team is well-established with good support from senior colleagues.
The position is full-time, at 10 PAs per week, with flexibility for remote working, negotiable through the Clinical Director. The role may include home visits and travel across the county; therefore, the ability to travel by car is essential due to limited public transport.
Main duties of the job:
* Psychiatric assessment of patients to diagnose eating disorders and other psychiatric conditions.
* Lead medical assessments for patients with eating disorders, advising on investigations and liaising with colleagues to manage physical complications.
* Provide psychiatric and medical risk assessments and management for eating disorder patients.
* Collaborate with children’s services, social services, education authorities, GPs, CMHTs, and families for comprehensive patient care.
* Lead and support ED teams in using Outcome Measures (ROMS) and ED-specific tools for screening, diagnosis, and monitoring treatment progress.
* Provide therapeutic interventions in various modalities.
* Supervise ED team colleagues in complex case management.
* Manage and monitor psychiatric comorbidities among ED patients.
* Administer psychopharmacological treatment, licensed and off-label as per NICE guidelines, with appropriate monitoring.

Requirements:
* Full GMC License to practice
* Right to Work in the UK
* Relevant previous experience in this role
