Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy and fast paced Next Steps Team at Together for Children. Position & Details

Position: Social Worker/Senior Social Worker, Next Steps Team

Grade: 7/8 (SCP 26-36)

Salary: £32,909 - £42,503 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Our Practice Model

We have adopted the Signs of Safety model, embedded in all areas of practice. Whether you are familiar with this model or not, we offer extensive training and support through our dedicated Signs of Safety team, including co‑working and 1‑1 sessions.


Your Role

You will have experience in undertaking assessments and producing robust plans. Creativity and experience in gaining the child’s views through direct work are essential. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide high‑level support and intervention based on assessed needs.


Support & Development

Join an established team with high levels of support and guidance from a Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager. We promote a nurturing, learning environment with high support and high challenge. We invest in workforce development, offering specialist training programs like Trauma‑Informed Practice and Safe & Together training.
