We are currently seeking a Junior HR Advisor to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. If you have previously worked in a HR capacity and enjoy working closely with colleagues to solve problems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role
As a Junior HR Advisor, you will support managers across the business and advise them on employee relations issues.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Ensure all new starters have a smooth transition by conducting onboarding calls at specified weeks
6. Management of the onboarding tracker, ensuring any issues or concerns are raised with the appropriate Manager at that time
7. Complying with Right to Work and Driver License internal processes as per legal obligations
8. Registering and maintaining training tracker for new starts, which includes compliance with regulatory bodies
9. Collation and submission of monthly sickness absence reports for payroll to ensure correct payments are processed
10. Sickness tracking: receiving and uploading of documentation including self certificates, return to work documentation etc ensuring any outstanding documentation is chased through on a weekly basis
11. Management of the company occupational health provider, ensuring consent forms are sent to colleagues, appointments are booked in a timely manner and confirmation of appointment letters sent. Invoices for appointments to be reviewed and either approved or disputed, on a monthly basis
12. Assisting with note taking where required
13. Supporting Senior HR Advisor with case management, as and when required
14. Travel to to branches across the UK and Ireland, as and when required
15. Managing HR mailbox on a daily basis, responding in a timely manner to all HR query requests
16. Follow overpayment process as per overpayment procedures alongside finance department
17. Support in the management of the colleague satisfaction survey
18. Support with the pay review and bonus process
19. Ensuring filing is up-to-date to meet with all audit requirements
20. Responding to reference requests when required
21. Maintenance of company policies and championing amongst colleagues
22. Managing Long Service Awards, ensuring colleagues receive the required letters and vouchers
23. Complete monthly CVC decks
24. Ad hoc project work
25. Any additional duties as required
26. Assisting with payroll data submission and providing any additional requests for payments/ deductions to the UK Payroll team that may come into the HR Inbox
Requirements:

27. Previous experience within HR Administration and/or HR Advisory
28. Good understanding of HR Processes
29. Full UK driving licence and own car
30. CIPD level 3
31. Recognised HR qualification would be advantageous
32. Knowledge of Irish Employment Law would be advantageous
33. Good engaging and interaction skills coupled with a proactive attitude with a focus on execution
34. Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with a forward thinking approach
35. A high level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity
36. PC Literate (use of email and Google/ Microsoft packages)
