We are looking for an experienced Civils Operative to join the team responsible for deep excavations on our Waste Networks to repair, prevent failure or inability to operate. This will mean ideally you will have a 360-excavator license and experience and knowledge on how to perform a deep excavation safely. You will be based at our Barnhurst Site in Wolverhampton. You’ll work within our, with 13 other Operatives within your Region. This is a full-time role at 42.5 hours a week, working from 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday with a rotating standby rota that may include evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Perform deep excavations on Waste Networks to repair, prevent failure or inoperability.
* Work as part of the Waste Network Resolution Team to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Operate in a safe manner, adhering to site safety protocols and assessing risks.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
* Full driving licence
* A C1 & E / CE license would be desirable
* NRSWA Operatives Qualification
* Deep Excavation training
* 360 Excavator License
* Medium risk confined space and similar industry qualifications
* Knowledge of Temporary Works
* Underground Cable Detection

* Salary: £32,217.76 - £43,252.46 (Dependent on experience)
