As a Data Analyst, youll work with our Data Manager to enhance the quality and utilisation of data across the business, enabling measurable service excellence for our customers and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards What could a typical week look like as a Data analyst? Your weekly tasks could include: Review Data Quality issues raised by stakeholders. Virtually meet with internal stakeholders (e.g Customer Inclusion, repairs) to understand their data pain points. Hold a face-face Collaboration event with front line colleagues in the repairs or housing teams to identify gaps in data entry processes. Document findings and propose improvements to data capture workflows. Work on cleansing plans and update centralised data requirement documentation. Conduct root cause analysis of recurring data quality issues. Join cross-departmental working group to align on data processing improvements. Update and maintain centralised data requirement registers (moving away from Excel-based trackers). Deliver or support a Data Literacy training session. Collaborate with the Data Manager to align on Data Management Framework Create visual dashboards or presentations for upcoming stakeholder meetings. Reflect on progress made on cleansing plans and data quality initiatives. This is what youll need to thrive in the role as a Data Analyst Extensive experience shaping data quality standards to improve business performance metrics and regulatory compliance. Experience in a similar role within Social Housing Sector, Local Government or Public Sector Organisation Experience presenting and communicating with senior business stakeholders Strong ability to persuade and influence senior decision makers. Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills Very good experience in planning, running, and extracting the right information from requirement workshops with people. Good knowledge around creating and maintaining a data dictionary. Experience in data discovery, data analysis, data profiling techniques and procedures. Extensive data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel to interpret business data requirements. Good experience of producing impactful project reports for business stakeholders.
