We are currently recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on an individual basis in a school in the Wokingham area. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, nurturing, and confident in providing tailored support to meet a child’s specific needs. Role responsibilities: Providing 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Implementing strategies and support plans as directed Helping to maintain a safe, positive learning environment The ideal candidate will have: Experience working as a 1:1 TA or SEN TA (preferred) Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or SEMH A calm, patient, and consistent approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills What’s on offer: Full-time or part-time opportunities Local work in Wokingham and surrounding areas Long-term and short-term roles available Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK Two recent references At Supply Hive, safeguarding and child welfare are at the heart of everything we do.
