A SEN teacher is needed for a pupil referral unit (PRU) in North London for secondary school students with special educational needs aged 11:16.
As a SEN teacher, you will be working with students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools, with the aim of providing them with qualifications to ensure a successful future.

Your responsibilities as a SEN teacher may include:
* Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. This may include alternative teaching methods, such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions.
* Helping students to develop confidence and independence.
* Implementing behaviour management techniques, which may include physical restraints, to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
* Working with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors, and psychologists
* Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well:being of students.
To be a SEN teacher, you will need:
* The right to work in the UK.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
* A clear and up:to:date DBS
* Experience working as a Teacher in a UK school.
* A patient and can:do attitude.
