The position of Procurement Manager involves working across various functions including HR, IT, FM, and Finance, and participating in multiple projects. The Procurement Manager will be based in London with hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be part of a dedicated procurement team. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with stakeholders across the UK in HR, IT, FM, and Finance to meet budget targets for general services.
* Negotiating and influencing suppliers globally to ensure responsible sourcing and long-term relationships.
* Reviewing existing contracts for value for money.
* Analyzing data and preparing reports on expenditures and savings.
* Mentoring and upskilling junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Over 5 years of experience in buying, procurement, or category management, preferably in manufacturing.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
* A proactive, people-oriented attitude.
* The ability to operate effectively within complex environments.
