About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our catering team at a school in SW19. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys steady daytime hours and preparing simple, nutritious meals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook basic, balanced meals for pupils and staff in line with the set menu.
* Assist with daily food preparation, portioning, and service.
* Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness are maintained at all times.
* Follow school dietary requirements, allergen guidelines, and food safety policies.
* Work as part of a small team to deliver meals efficiently and on time.
* Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising food waste.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar kitchen role.
* Basic cooking skills with a focus on producing fresh, simple meals.
* A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
