We're working with a values-led Housing Association based in London to recruit a Head of Finance and Resources on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting senior management opportunity to play a central role in ensuring the organisation remains financially strong, well governed and equipped for the future. As Head of Finance & Resources, you will lead the Finance, ICT and Facilities & Safety functions - ensuring each operates efficiently, collaboratively and in alignment with the organisation’s mission to provide safe homes, excellent customer service and value for money for residents. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will work closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, deputising when required, and contributing to organisation-wide strategy, planning and performance. You will champion operational excellence, digital transformation, value for money and strong internal controls, ensuring services are fit for purpose, future-focused and delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, management accounts and audit coordination Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Support long-term business planning through financial projections, 30-year financial modelling and cashflow forecasting Ensure consistent application of financial regulations, rent standards and value for money principles Oversee delivery of ICT services and infrastructure aligned to evolving business needs Manage ICT service levels, supplier relationships, digital transformation initiatives and disaster recovery planning Oversee management and development of office facilities, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and support sustainability initiatives Promote organisational values through leadership behaviours and stakeholder engagement
About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A recognised CCAB qualification (ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA, CIMA or CIPFA) Proven leadership of high-performing, cross-functional teams within customer-focused environments Experience supporting organisational change and improving systems and processes Experience overseeing ICT services or managing external ICT suppliers Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly Excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship-building abilities A leadership style that combines strategic thinking with operational delivery Housing sector experience would be advantageous
