I’m partnered with a leading multinational business seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant who can hit the ground running in a temporary role with the potential to go permanent. This position supports country level statutory, month end, and reporting activity within a high performing shared services environment.
The Key Responsibilities of The Role Are
1. Payroll accounting, including incentive accruals
2. Accrual – and deferral postings
3. Preparation and posting of month end closing journals
4. Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliation, maintaining the required evidence
5. Preparation of local tax reporting (tax return and VAT reporting), in cooperation with Tax and VAT specialist.
6. Responsible for the set up of the local financial statements (following local GAAP and requirements, including filing)
7. Act as primary contact for the audits of local financial statements end group reporting financial statements
8. Ensurepliance with applicable group accounting policies. Support the process in place to ensure this structurally happens
9. Ensurepliance with local accounting regulations and requirements.
10. Regularmunication with the business, FBP,mercial teams to develop a strong understanding of business activities and needs.
11. Identify areas for improvement, standardisation and increasing of efficiency in the accounting process
12. Payroll submission to third party provider for UK & IE
13. P11d/ P46 preparation & submission
14. PAYE Settlement agreement submissions
15. Fleet management support
What You’ll Bring
16. Extended experience in accounting and reporting (minimum of 5 years experience in a majorpany or division of a large corporation);
17. Experienced in SAP, not essential as full training will be provided
18. IFRS knowledge or equivalent through experience
19. Knowledge of local GAAP and requirements
20. Accuracy and attention to detail
