CPL Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Stores Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis, based in Ballymena with a salary of £33,000 per year and staff benefits package.

The role
A pivotal role, with a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Stores Coordinator will:
* Have responsibility for overseeing the efficient management of all tools, materials and inventory used in the precast concrete manufacturing process. This covers receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of raw materials (aggregates, cements, steel, admixtures) and consumables.
* Ensure smooth operations through timely availability of materials, minimising wastage and controlling inventory costs.
The person
* Proven experience managing materials.
* Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
* Familiar with audits, regulatory compliance and documentation.
* Sound knowledge of material handling safety – PPE usage and storage standards.
* Proven ability to supervise a team/ lead a team.
* Sound knowledge of inventory control methods (safety stock, reorder levels etc)
* IT proficiency including Microsoft Office suite.
* Able to handle unexpected challenges like supply delays, urgent production needs or damaged materials.
* Ability to respond to issues that may arise with a level-headed approach and the ability to think logically and react quickly.
