R& Partners are seeking an Engineering Compliance Manager to join a dynamic team in Wales. In this role, you will oversee and manage quality and compliance activities within the engineering department, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. You will play a key part in maintaining systems, supporting audits, and driving improvements in quality and efficiency. Responsibilities:
* Ensure engineering processes comply with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
* Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory updates to maintain compliance.
* Manage quality-related activities such as deviations, change controls, investigations, and corrective actions.
* Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
* Review and update departmental documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Support the maintenance of asset management systems and unplanned maintenance requests.
* Oversee the operation and integration of SCADA systems with production processes.
* Lead initiatives to improve product quality and process efficiency.
* Prepare for and host regulatory and safety audits.
* Contribute to budget planning and ensure investments align with compliance needs.
* Provide input for regulatory submissions and strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* Experience within pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing
* Experience carrying out quality events such as CAPAs, NCRs, Deviations, Change Controls etc within engineering
* Experience with SCADA and QMS systems
* Right to work in the UK
