Supply Teacher of Performing Arts, Stoke-on-Trent
Academics are actively looking for enthusiastic & experienced Performing Arts Teachers who are seeking day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply assignments within our partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire.
Whether this is a long-term contract or week-by-week flexible supply, at Academics, we focus the job search around you and aim to provide supply opportunities that match your preferences. These roles offer flexibility in working days and are particularly suitable for Performing Arts & Drama Early Career Teachers (ECTs), often leading to more permanent roles in our partner schools.
Requirements:
* Hold a relevant Performing Arts/Drama qualification (PGCE, PCET, B.Ed, or BSc Hons) along with UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS). For PCET graduates, QTLS is desirable but not essential.
* Be familiar with the National Curriculum and Performing Arts/Drama programmes of study.
* Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire positive learning attitudes.
* Be adaptable to new school environments and a good team player.
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one (cost applies).
Your daily rate will depend on your experience, qualifications, the type of supply (short or long-term), and the current client rates.
