An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Therapy team at Victoria School. The successful applicant will be motivated and enthusiastic and ready to join our skilled multidisciplinary therapy team based in Poole, Dorset.
Shaftesbury's Victoria School is for students aged 3-19 with primarily physical and medical needs and associated learning difficulties.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions to children with a variety of developmental disorders and managing your own caseload. You will work closely with families and other professionals to provide excellent quality of care and to act as a source of information, support and advice. You will be responsible for the supervision of the OT Assistants and University clinical placements
Ideally you will have experience of working with children either in a special school or within paediatric occupational therapy setting. Additional qualifications within sensory integration would be an advantage. A minimum of one year experience post-graduation is required.

Essential Qualifications
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registered
* Minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in Occupational Therapy
* Experience working with children & young adults
* Manual Handling and safe moving practices
* Working in a multidisciplinary or multiagency team
