At Birtley East Community Primary School we will develop all children in our care to their full potential academically, socially, physically and emotionally in a supportive, caring and disciplined environment.
We are a safeguarding school. Children at Birtley East are taught how to keep themselves safe, including identifying harmful behaviour and how to seek help when they feel unsafe. All staff at our school are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
The Headteacher and governors wish to appoint one suitably qualified and motivated Wrap Around Provision Assistant to join our inclusive and forward looking school.
You will;
* have experience of working with children and young people in a play or other related setting,
* have experience of school first aid and be qualified in paediatric first aid or willing to train,
* have a desire to work closely with a range of skilled professionals and with children's families to achieve the best outcomes for them,
* be a committed team member,
* be committed to professional development,

15 hours per week, 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday Term Time Only
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
