🔍 About the Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity to support a critical site in the energy generation sector. You’ll be responsible for managing procurement activities across a wide range of goods and services, ensuring value, compliance, and operational efficiency.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring best value and quality.
* Manage tenders, negotiations, and contract execution in line with procurement policies.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Support compliance with HSEQ and information security standards.
* Operate procurement systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Proven procurement experience in a similar role (essential).
* Experience in power generation, petrochem, or heavy engineering (desirable).
* Strong understanding of contract law and commercial risk management.
* Skilled in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
* CIPS Level 4 (minimum), working towards Level 6.
* Proficiency in SAP and e-tendering systems (essential).
* Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
