These positions offer an excellent opportunity for passionate educators to take on a leadership role and drive academic excellence within their specialist subject area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective leadership and management of the subject department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
2. Support and develop teaching staff to deliver outstanding lessons that engage and inspire students.
3. Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and the implementation of departmental improvement strategies.
4. Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform decision-making and raise attainment.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to the wider strategic development of the school.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with secondary teaching experience in one of the specified subjects.
7. Demonstrable success in improving student outcomes and leading teams effectively.
8. Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
9. A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high educational standards.
