Were seeking an ambitious, motivated, and hard-working individual to join our team as an Estimator. This full-time role (38 hours per week) offers 29 days of annual leave, including 8 statutory holidays. Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Youll play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive, and successful project bids, contributing directly to the companys continued growth. Were looking for someone who: -Has 2 years experience in a similar role or relevant electrical engineering background. -Is confident communicating with customers to define project scopes, address technical issues, negotiate pricing and budgets, and prepare estimate documentation. -Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work both independently and as part of a team. -Is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and is interested in project planning and commercial strategy. ?? Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Experience and Qualifications: Has 2 years experience in a similar role or relevant electrical engineering background. Previous experience scoping jobs and surveying sites to understand requirements and provide design suggestions. Ability to work well within a team environment. Hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent analytical skills, adapt to changing demands. Good negotiation skills. Strong time management skills. High use of initiative Responsibilities of the Role: Timely and accurate submission of tenders. Liaising with clients and suppliers to receive compliant and competitive quotations for contracts and materials. Attend meetings with the client team. Management and delivery of electrical estimating requirements. Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a compliant submission. Identify potential risks/opportunities within the scope of enquires received. Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects to consistent and competitive levels. Maintaining tender records and correspondence. Focus on driving efficiencies, managing costings and preparing the financial bid for submission.
