Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Pay: £13.68 per hour
Shifts: Day and Night shifts available
Contract: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Mental Health Support Workers to join Balfor Health and Social Care in Tewkesbury. You will support adults with a range of needs, including:
Autism & ADHDLearning DisabilitiesMental Health ConditionsBrain InjuryNon-Verbal IndividualsChallenging BehaviourWheelchair UsersYour role will help individuals live independently, build confidence, and enjoy everyday life.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and group support in supported living or residential settingsAssist with personal care, medication, and daily routinesPromote independence and life skillsEncourage participation in social and community activitiesBuild positive, respectful, and supportive relationshipsDeliver person-centred care tailored to each individualRequirements
Minimum 6 months’ experience in care, mental health, learning disabilities, or supporting complex needsFull UK driving licence (essential)MAPA/PMVA training or willingness to trainCompassionate, patient, and proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsFull right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)What We Offer
