We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Pastoral Support Officer to manage the Head of Year office effectively. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the Year Team and in implementing its policies and ethos.
This hands-on role involves working primarily with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the Year Team, working closely with the Head of Year. The College maintains a system where Year Teams stay with their cohort as they progress through the school, fostering strong and trusting relationships with pupils and their families.

Salary: Scale 6 (range point 18 to 22) £30,559 to £32,654 FTE. The actual salary is £23,022 per annum, plus 2.5 hours of contracted overtime weekly (£1,770.96 per annum).
Contract: Permanent, term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year).
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:15 to 15:15, plus 2.5 hours of contractual overtime weekly.
