Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. GCSE/'O' level English and Mathematics
2. NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social care
3. Evidence of further study, courses related to healthcare or cancer care
4. Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or health related diploma level qualification
Desirable criteria
5. Medical Terminology Course.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
6. Relevant Health or social care experience in the NHS
7. Previous experience of supporting patients.
8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
9. Previous experience of working within a multidisciplinary team, or equivalent
10. Previous Involvement with Data collection systems
11. Experience of dealing with challenging situations
Desirable criteria
12. Awareness of Macmillan Cancer agenda and willingness to undertake training days and educational programmes
13. Previous experience of participation in audit
14. Experience of managing small projects/service improvement
15. Use of Hospital PAS systems
