YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS PAYROLL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE
HR Recruit is working with an expanding organisation who is seeking to recruit an experienced payroll candidate to work within the HR team. Initially the will be mainly payroll, but as the role develops you will have the opportunity to take on some HR responsibilities. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will join a small HR team. The client is looking for a seasoned professional who can take ownership of the payroll function and who prides themselves on accuracy and professionalism.
Role responsibilities
* Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
* Liaise with external providers as required
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the third-party payroll provider managing all payroll processing tasks.
* Enter and maintain all employee data in the system, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, permanent and temporary pay adjustments including bonus data, salary review changes, and other non-standard payments.
* Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
* Maintain accurate employee records all benefits platforms including new enrolments, changes, and terminations
* Provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in payroll coordination or administrative/HR support preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and database administration.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Experience using third party payroll provider is highly desirable.
In return you will receive a salary of between £30,000-£33,000 plus excellent benefits and the opportunity to work within a close HR team.
