GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Nottinghamshire. Responsibilities for Food Technology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages.
* Teach practical cooking, nutrition, food science, and hygiene skills.
* Encourage creativity, independent learning, and critical thinking.
* Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic achievement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and promote practical learning.
What You’ll Bring as a Food Technology Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in food preparation and nutrition.
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
