A Specialist Needs School in Witney are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a difference in the lives of pupils with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and nurturing the students on their educational journeys. All the pupils in this school have additional learning needs - ASD, learning difficulties, communication needs and physical disabilities, to name a few. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will vary, from providing 1:1 support during class activities to assisting with behaviour, and helping with lunch duty. Personal care, such as feeding or toileting may also be required. You will need to have a genuine passion for working with children with additional learning needs.
