The Opportunity: The University of Edinburgh, through its Accommodation, Catering and Events (ACE) department, manages a large portfolio of hotels, venues, student and seasonal accommodation, university catering outlets and two nurseries. You will be responsible for : To provide the most effective, high quality marketing service for ACE, the job holder, in conjunction with Head of Branding, Marketing and Communication, will develop marketing and communications plans for the key areas within ACE. Plan, coordinate and manage the execution of tasks set out in the marketing and communications plans to ensure stringent timescales are met. Manage third parties to deliver on ACE’s marketing and communications plans. This will include booking advertising space, organising public relations and sponsorship activities. Responsible for communicating to and with a broad range of people at various levels, internal and external to the University, therefore developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is imperative to promote the student and commercial university brands.
