If so we are currently searching for a Site Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical integrity and operational efficiency for a global medical device company. This is a dynamic role designed for an adaptable professional who thrives in a high-response environment.You will be responsible for a diverse range of maintenance disciplines, ensuring that site infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards while balancing scheduled upkeep with reactive repairs.
Role Details:
Title: Site Maintenance Technician
Pay: £40,000 per annum
Contract: Until end of November
Location: Witney (Full time onsite)
Hours - 8am-4pm (Monday - Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive Facility Maintenance
o Execute a broad spectrum of hands-on repairs, including minor structural works (walls, doors, joinery) and fabric maintenance.
o Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on essential plumbing systems.
o Manage the installation and commissioning of fixtures, fittings, and internal equipment.
o Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting immediate site issues.
* Asset Management & Documentation
o Utilise our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log, track, and close out work orders.
o Maintain rigorous digital records of all site activities to ensure full audit completion and a clear history of facility upkeep.
* Operational Problem-Solving
o Prioritise a fluctuating workload based on operational urgency and safety requirements.
o Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to address specific maintenance needs with minimal disruption to daily operations.
o Uphold a professional demeanour while navigating a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
Candidate Specification:
* Multi-Disciplinary Expertise: A proven track record in general maintenance, basic plumbing, manual troubleshooting.
* Practical Diligence: A hands-on approach to work with a high level of attention to detail and finishing standards.
* Digital Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications; experience with maintenance logging software is an advantage.
* Self-Motivation: The ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
