We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in our factory in Eastleigh!
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products and processes consistently meet high quality standards and customer expectations. You’ll monitor, test, and improve manufacturing processes to boost product quality, reduce variation, and lower the cost of poor quality.
This role combines hands‑on technical work with strong soft skills — including teamwork, communication, leadership, and coordination — to drive real impact across our operations.
What You’ll Do:
1. Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures across product families.
2. Ensure accurate application of work instructions, QMS procedures, and customer requirements.
3. Prepare customer documentation packages (MRBs).
4. Manage customer claims and internal non‑conformities, driving improvements.
5. Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
6. Support supplier quality management and resolve supplier issues.
7. Monitor key quality KPIs and analyse data to identify improvement opportunities.
8. Maintain and update QMS documentation with the UK Quality Management System Manager.
9. Oversee testing and inspection of raw materials, components, and finished products.
10. Promote a strong quality culture through leadership and example.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
11. Proven experience within Quality engineering within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with a hands‑on, proactive approach.
12. Strong problem‑solving skills and good attention to detail, with familiarity in quality standards, testing methods, or statistical tools.
13. Comfortable managing multiple tasks while staying focused on key priorities.
14. Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and colleagues at all levels.
15. Background in Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience gained in a similar quality role.
16. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt knowledge is beneficial, but not essential.
