RX Global aims to create unforgettable experiences for attendees and exhibitors through organizing events such as IBTM, ILTM, WTM and ATM. We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented Buyer Operations Manager to support the successful delivery of RX Global Travel events. This dual‑role position combines buyer recruitment and relationship management with digital platform and event systems coordination. In this role you will identify, recruit, manage and host buyers while overseeing the set‑up and configuration of event management systems, web CMS, mobile apps, registration forms and attendee portals across the full event lifecycle. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, buyers and partners to ensure systems run smoothly and every touchpoint delivers a seamless, reliable and engaging experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage and configure SaaS (Hosted Buyer) platforms to support event delivery requirements.
* Coordinate platform setup, registration processes and system delivery across event lifecycles.
* Act as a central liaison to align stakeholders on requirements, timelines and progress.
* Support system integrations, testing (UAT) and continuous platform improvements.
* Identify, log and escalates system issues, collaborating with development teams on solutions.
* Deliver clear and consistent reporting to support decision‑making and performance tracking.
* Contribute to buyer recruitment strategies, building strong industry relationships and pipelines.
* Manage buyer communications, database activity and event admin to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
* Experience using data, systems or CRM/database platforms (e.g. Excel, Smartsheet or similar).
* Comfortable working with digital platforms, systems or process improvements.
* Ability to analyse information and use data to support decision‑making.
* Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a positive experience.
* Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Relevant experience in events, recruitment, operations or digital systems (degree or equivalent experience welcomed).
* Desirable to have EventsAir experience.
